Speaking of Pass Time

I truly believe my pass time is well spent. I know I do watch a lot of Direct TV, but many of the programs I watch are informational. I try to educate myself with some history and discovery type programs. Those can sometimes be better and more informative than reading a book. In fact, I'm more of a visual type person, so often times I find them much better than reading.

I don't know what I would do without my DirectTv. It has been a lifesaver on so many occasions. The winters here can be quite cold here and I try to stay indoors as much as I can. This being the case, I watch more Directv than I probably should. I'm not going to lie either, I do find myself wrapped up in programs that are nothing but for leisure, but that's okay too. Many people read novels, and I prefer a good old fashion soap.

No One Loves TV as Much as My Husband

I believe my husband loves watching the television more than anyone I know. Don't get me wrong, he's not lazy by any means, but he does enjoy it when he finishes up everything he needs to do around the house and is able to just sit down and relax while watching some good tv. If it wasn't for the Direct TV Packages offered, I'm not sure what he would do with all his spare time.

Our friends from Florida ask us which satellite service we preferred, and without hesitation my husband informed them that his favorite was what Direct TV Offers. I knew what my husband was going to say before it came out of his mouth. I also knew my husband would be the very one to ask when it comes to television service. Needless to say, he went ahead and made sure that our friends knew Direct TV Deals in Florida would be their better choice. There are many times my husband may not voice his opinion, but when it comes to watching the tv, then he is definitely going to tell people what he thinks.

Medical Positions

A friend of mine is considering going back to school and maybe trying to take something in the medical field. She hasn't fully decided what she wants to do, but she is highly considering medical assistant training school. Myself, I think this would be perfect for her. After reading what a medical assistant actually does, it sounds like the perfect job. I know she has what it takes to do the schooling, so I am wishing her the best of luck!

Ordering for a Company

I was asked by a friend of mine who is the general manager of a company to start ordering their industrial products. The lady who use to do this is out on maternity leave. They basically need someone to fill in for a couple of months. He thought of me since I use to do this years ago for another company. Of course, I said yes, even though I really don't have the time. I know if I was in a situation and needed help then he would do the same for me, so how could I say no.

Child Proofing

My cousin that is getting ready to add an addition to her family and is wanting my help with getting her house ready for baby proofing. I am overly excited to help her with this because I know it is important. I've heard so many bad things in the past with families that didn't have Child Safety Locks or Baby Gates. I don't want her to fall into this category.

I have trying to read up on child safety tips, so I will know what will be the best options for her to consider. We have decided that from now until the time the baby comes we will take it one room at a time. We will be starting with the living room on Monday and go from there. By doing it this way, we will not be as confused or not leave out any area of her home. It is going to take us a couple of weeks, but if everything goes as planned then we should be finished by the time the baby arrives. I am so excited and can't wait to get started.

Love Home Security

A few months back we had a ADT security system installed in our home.  We did this for two reasons. One was because my husband and I travel a whole lot. The other is because my husband actually travels more than I do and I hate the feeling of no Home Security when he is not home with me. It's quite scary coming home at night knowing I have to walk into this dark house and hope no one is inside. It's nice knowing Home Security Systems can give you the feeling of not being afraid.

If you've thought about getting some type of security in the past, then I highly recommend you do your research and find one that is reliable. With ADT, I know I am protected. They have Home Security Monitoring in every state and came highly recommended in my area. I have at least five different friends who use them. So far, I have not had any trouble with this system and hope that I never have to live without it. The feeling of being safe is so precious to me.

Life Insurance

Well believe it or not I have found one way to cut our monthly bills. It may not be by a big amount, but hey, every little bit helps. Eventually all those little amounts will add up and turn into a good chuck. Just today I found a way to lower my life insurance rate. Now I am on a roll. This means I am going to check all the other insurance we have and see if I can get it cheaper also. If you haven't checked yours or your families then it's time to do so. You might could save yourself a lot of money in the long run.

Looking Around for Announcements Options

This morning I have been scoping the internet for some different options on custom made announcements. My cousin is going to be having a baby any day now and she wants me to help her find some sort of announcement to send everyone that would be unique. I don't blame her, it's her first child and she wants everything to be special. I know a custom made announcement would be the perfect way to make this event special.

I happen to think about this company I had ordered some invitations from back when my daughter graduated school. So, I decided to look there for for some baby announcements.  Sure enough, they had exactly what she would want. This is going to be so perfect. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and after we finish with out dinner, she and I are going to sit down and figure out which one she would like to order. That way, once the baby has arrived we won't be spending time trying to decide. It will just be a matter of putting in our info and placing the order.

Just Found Some Cool Ways to do Business

I have always been interested in Online Trading, but never really knew how to go about it. Then a friend of mine has turned me on to First Trade. It is the coolest place ever. I am learning so much from them. Like how to do Stock Trading. I know this is silly, but it is something I've wanted to try for so long that I just wanted to share it with everyone.

What could be any better than having an Online Broker and never having to leave the comfort of your home to do your business? I, personally, think it is wonderful I can't wait to see some of my relatives over this Thanksgiving holiday and share with them what I have learned from this company. I just about guarantee they are all going to want to know more about it. It will be nice knowing how to do something before my uncle who is always trading stocks. He's the one that is really going to enjoy learning more about how he can do it online.

Ready for Another Vacation

As most of you already know, I try to go on tons of vacations each year. I could live on the road and be extremely happy. Although, I know that will never be possible, it doesn't hurt for me to travel ever chance I get. This morning I spent some time looking at Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels. To my surprise, there were a lot of deals already out there for this next upcoming year.

In case I've never mentioned this, a Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel is wonderful. We stayed in a Myrtle Beach Hotel this past summer and I couldn't have ask for a better vacation. In fact a week was not long enough. I told my husband at that point, I would be booking us another trip come next spring, so I'm holding up my promise. I have picked the perfect one and now I plan on reserving it within the next day or two. I know Christmas is coming up, but if I don't get it booked I'm afraid I'll miss out and won't get to go. I can't have that.

Looking for Shoes

It seems here lately it's been more of a hectic time than anytime this past year. I have had to help with a wedding, find bridal shoes for the bride and help with the rehearsal dinner. I know I shouldn't be complaining, but sometimes it would be nice to have nothing to do.

I can at least say one thing about the whole wedding ordeal, finding the bridal shoes was actually fairly easy and I was able to get her the perfect pair and a wonderful price. I went to Zappos online and ordered the size she needed and they arrived in no time. I was so impressed that I ordered me a pair of boots also. I've ordered from them before this occasion, but I was highly impressed this time in particular because the site seemed to be so easy to navigate and they had both pairs of shoes in the exact size I needed them. I know from now on when I am looking for some certain shoes, then this is going to be my first stop before I search anywhere else.

Big Sale Items

I know there are going to be some big sale items come this holiday season, and I'm aware I will have to hold back from buying everything I see on sale. I do want to look at a few laptops and see what kind of deal I can find. We have a laptop, but it's getting rather old and outdated. It sure would be nice to find something that is a super deal that I can't live without, then I wouldn't feel so bad about buying another one.

Deciding on Vacations

At this time of year we start thinking about upcoming vacations for the next year. I know that sounds a little silly, but nothing is worse than planning a vacation only to find out there are no openings. Planning one at this time of year is about the only way you are guaranteed to book something in a place you are really wanting to visit. My daugher and my husband both make me a list of three places and I do one myself. Then we usually try to do at least one from each of our list. This year it looks like we will be visiting the Las Vegas, which I am thrilled about. We are also going on a Outer Banks vacation as well as another cruise. I'm getting excited already!

A Girls Night Out

You definitely know when you have a girls night out on a Saturday night and all you can talk about are wrinkles and dark circle under yours eyes, your getting old. My friends and I spent a couple of hours talking about it last night as we enjoyed our salad at a local restaurant. It was fun getting together, but then it made me all depressed when I came back home. I definitely have to do better about using my wrinkle cream. I buy it and then it sits there. Now I am just hoping it isn't too late.

My Husband is in Houston for a Few Weeks

As many of you already know, my husband has a business in which he has to work out of town a whole lot. This week and for several weeks he is in Houston. He says the weather is really nice there and he wished he was home so he could be getting some much needed chores done here. I told him since he did drive the Acura Integra to Houston then he could be doing one chore he had on his list for doing at home.

When I said he could should look around for a Houston auto repair, he said that would be a good idea. At least while he sitting there getting nothing done then he could have an oil change and a tune up. At least that would be a few things on his list that he wouldn't have to do when he gets back home. He loved that idea and honestly I think it makes him feel better knowing he is getting something productive done instead of sitting and doing nothing. What would he do without me and my good ideas?

Myrtle Beach is the Way to Go

My family and I love to visit Myrtle Beach. It's a little different that going to Florida all the time. It's almost that time of year when we start looking at Myrtle Beach Accommodations again. We always try to book early for the spring or summer so we can be assured of getting reservations where we want them. Sometimes a Myrtle Beach Hotel that is very popular may get booked for the days we want and I just hate when that happens because we end up having to rearrange our work schedule to their opening. 

So, on my agenda for this week, I plan to look into a Myrtle Beach Accommodation for us and get it all set up so we can go. I am hoping for something in the late spring before schools are out. As most of you already know, we take several trips throughout the year, I guess I should be thankful for this, but it's the nice thing about both my husband and I owning our own business. Sometimes we end up having to do work while we are away, but it's still nice listening to the waves while working.

A friend of mine has a business in which she has to find ways to translate her work from time to time. Well, to my surprise I think I have found a perfect solution to this problem she has been having. It is an online translation tool that can be used for this exact purpose. You can go straight to the Translia site and it will do all the hard work for you.

No matter how many words you have to translate, it is the perfect way to do it. If you need it to figure the time in the foreign country, it can do that too. My friend has to do a lot of brand translation and I discovered it's even perfect for that. She is going to be so thrilled when I show this to her. On top of that, I was totally shocked to find out it does name translation. What more could you ask for? I'm not sure if I will ever need to use it, but I do know I will be saving this site in case I ever do come across a need for it.

College Cost are Going Up

My daughter came home from her classes at the local college today with an announcement about how her classes will go up for next semester. I thought they were already quite expensive, but now I find out this. I know one thing we will be doing this next semester and that is looking for a different place to purchase textbooks. It turns out most college students buy their books online at a much cheaper price. I feel anything we can do to help the college fund, then the better we will be in the long run.

Finding a Job

I know it's rough trying to find a job in this type of economy. I am hoping and wishing for the best for my aunt while she searches for a philadelphia job. She recently moved to this area because her mother-in-law needed their help. I know it's not the easiest time to go finding jobs, but I have faith that with her experience she can find something. If she doesn't, then it's going to hurt them so much financially. Her husband is going to have to take off work for at least three months until his mother has recovered from her surgery, so keep them all in your prayers.
