Almost There

AS many of you know, I am always remodeling my house and I am always changing things. I have finally come to conclusion that ceramic tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms are my favorite. They are so much easier to keep clean and it doesn't matter if you spill water on them. We now have them in one bathroom and in our kitchen. I am almost there with having them in all bathrooms. I will be so happen once we do, then I can rest for a while with our remodeling projects. I think.

Life Insurance is Something Everyone Needs

Most of you know how I feel about life insurance. I feel like a family shouldn't be without it. I don't know what would happen if something were to happen to my husband and we had no coverage on him. It would definitely be a difficult time for me. I had him check into term life insurance quotes back years ago, and ever since then we have had insurance. It was not near as expensive as most people seem to think. My husband had always thought it would be more than we could afford, but he was actually shocked to find out it was affordable. Now he knows and stands by me when I say it is something everyone should have.

Insurance Quotes

As many of you already know, I have been working on a household budget. My husband doesn't like making out a budget, but says he is more than willing to go by one if I do the math and figure out what to spend and what not too. I am okay with that, so I started working on it Monday of this week. First thing I did was call to get free insurance quotes. I couldn't believe it when I heard how much we could be saving on our insurance. I added how much more we paid this year with our current company and it was enough to actually go out for a couple of really nice dinners...and possibly a movie. I am so glad I checked around, now I am off to see if I can check on any other monthly bills we have. You just never know what you might find out.

A Friendly Get Together

My friends and I got together last night for some little social time. We try to do this occasionally, but sometimes it don't quite work out. Last night it was my turn to have everyone over at my house, which is okay, but the problem is having to come up with the entertainment.

It was so nice when I figured out that our entertainment was going to be my Direct TV. Yes, you read that right. It was none other than my Direct TV Service. A couple of my friends ask if I had a particular channel on my television, to which I did, thanks to Direct TV Packages. It turned out they wanted to watch a movie that was coming on. All I can say is if it weren't for the Direct TV Deals, I don't know what I would have done for our entertainment. Now I know to always search the guide to see what is coming on when I have a girls night out at my house.

Repairing Bad Credit

Now days it seems like you have to at least have descent credit to be able to get a loan.  Maybe it's the economy or maybe it's not. Either way, it's a issue so many people have to deal with.  You basically have no choice but to repair credit before you can do anything.

Many people are at lost when it comes to ways to improve credit.  I know I would also be at a lost. I have no idea what ways are the best ways. I am sure in my situation it would be best to find some different credit repair services to talk too. In fact, I was just talking to a friend of mine the other day who has had credit issues for some time now. Her ex-husband left her with pretty much all of the debts. She was talking to me about these services and said it was the best thing she could have done. Her credit score is tremendously higher now and she is on the road to recovering her bad credit.

Save Money

Who don't like to save money? I know my husband and I love too. It's like an obsession we have here lately. Maybe it's the economic times, but it has been paying off lately for us. We have been remodeling one our bathrooms and was trying to figure out, not only how to save money while remodeling, but we also wanted to come up with ways to save money for our future while doing this project.

My husband had a great idea. He wanted to install a dual flush toilet. I thought that sounded wonderful. It would be a perfect way for us to Save Water. It is turning out that this DIY project is going to be success after all. If you have been trying to come up with some new green lifestyles, then you should definitely check these toilets out. I was so surprised when my husband thought of it. I love trying to find ways to make things more green around our house.

Is Math Your Weakness

Many times throughout school, your child will have a weakness in one subject or another. My sons always seem to be how to Solve math problems. It seemed he was always needing Help with math.  One day I ran into someone that opened a whole new door for me. It was actually a former math teacher of mine.

She told me about where my son could get Free online math help. I'll never forget the day this happened. It was like a live savor for my son.  Not to mention it took a lot of pressure off of me too. Now, even though my children are grown and in college, they still are able to get Free college algebra help. That's right, you read that correctly. It is available if you need help. I'm just thankful I found out about it in time before either of my children suffered in their studies. It is always hard to catch up when you fall behind.

I Love Gardens and Landscaping

I have always had a love for garden ever since I was a young child. I remember always wanting to help my mom when she would work in her yard or garden. Now that I am all grown up, I can have all types of garden and Planters of my own. My problem is I don't know when to stop. It's almost like an obsession here lately.

Just the other day I was looking online at what Garden Planters and Decorative Planters I am wanting to buy next.  I just finished ordering a new Window Box Planter, but now I'm wanting more. But the way I see it is, if I had some other hobby then it would also cost money and it's a high possibility that another hobby would cost me even more money. At least with this type of entertainment, I am making my outdoors and indoors beautiful. It's refreshing to walk through the house or out on my patio and enjoy the work I've done. I know it has to look good, otherwise everyone wouldn't comment each time they come to visit.

It's Amazing the Help You Can Get

Everyday I find out something new and it totally amazes me. Just today I was talking with a lady at my church that told me about her son in need of Math Help. She said he had always struggled, but nothing like he has this year. She was saying the math was just over his head. What makes it even more difficult, is she doesn't have the time with her hectic work schedule to be able to help him. Not only that, but she also stated she didn't know if she could help him since her math skills aren't that great.

Anyway, this other mom overheard us talking about her son needing this help. She informed us about a place called Guaranteach. She said it was wonderful when her daughter was in the need of Algebra Help. Not only did she tell us about this place, but she added that they had Online Tutoring. How great is that? I just can't imagine how convenient this would be. If you have a child in need of math help, then I would highly recommend checking this out. I would do it in a heartbeat if it were my child.

Leaving Soon

I will be leaving soon for our cruise and I am overwhelmed at everything I need to take care of before I go. I have to not only pack for us to go, but I have so much to do around the house so that I can feel better about what goes on around here while I'm gone. I need to stock up on some dog treats and cat supplies, not to mention make sure I have someone that knows how to give them their medicine. Sometimes it is more stressful thinking of what I am leaving behind than it is getting myself ready to go.

My Husband and His Traveling

My husband's job is beginning to irritate me more lately than it ever has in the past. He has to travel so much that he is honestly away more than he is at home. I know it bothers him too because he is constantly calling me while he is away.  Just last week when he was in Atlanta, GA, he called about 6 times throughout the day. I was on the phone with him more than I wasn't.

One good thing about the job is I can go with him if I want. I did take a trip with him about a month ago to Buffalo, NY and that was somewhat fun. The problem with that is I don't get much work done when I am away. Sure, the laptop helps a lot, but it's not like being in my office. He doesn't understand that, but to me, when I am sitting in my office I get more things done because I can concentrate so much better. Next week he is going to St. Louis, MO and he is just dying for me to go. I might go just to make him happy, but I need to work extra hard so I can take a couple days off.

My Dieting Progress

As most of you know, I am getting closer to sailing out on my cruise in just a couple of weeks. With a candy bar in one hand and my diet supplement in the other, I am trying to decide what to do. I really want this candy bar, but I know I want to wear my new sun dresses on the ship. You know I'm not going to go for the candy bar, but I will say this. On this ship, my diet is on hold. I want to be able to enjoy everything it has to offer.

Am I Getting Older?

This morning when I got out of bet to get ready, I noticed something that I didn't like. It was dark eye circle. I immediately felt so much older. I'm not quite forty yet, but I feel sometimes like I am sixty. Why is that? Maybe it's because I run myself to death trying to get everything under the sun done before the end of the day. I can't wait until my vacation at the end of the month. However, I already know I will spend most of my time thinking about what I need to be doing back home.

Helping Out a Friend

I was telling a girl friend of mine about my trip we are planning to the beach next spring. She sounded as if her and her family would love to go, but they wouldn't be able to go until the summer time. I told her I have been researching some Myrtle Beach Resorts and some Myrtle Beach Hotels. She ask if I would share the information with her. I know she has a busy schedule like I do, and I told her if I was researching for myself, then it wouldn't be any trouble at all to pass the exact information on to her.

If you have never been to this beach, then you are definitely missing out. We have been here for the past few years on vacation and it is definitely worth a trip there.  My entire family loves it. I would highly recommend any Myrtle Beach Resort we have stayed in. They have all turned out to be great. I guess that is why I have some trouble trying to decide on which one to chose this time. I'm not sure if I want to go to one we have been to before or try another one just for fun. What would you do?

Getting Settled In

My neighbors of ten years has finally got moved to their new home. My husband and I have helped them and even though they are only going to be a few hours away, we are going to miss them dearly. This next week we are going to stay with them for a couple of days to help them get settled in. I have already informed them they need to get their Direct TV turned on by the weekend, or the guys are going to be mad because they can't see the ballgame.

I know in my house, Directv is a big part of our life. We watch all kinds of shows and it is our way of relaxing after a long day of stressful work. I have told them as soon as we get down there I will help them find out more about Direct TV in Florida. I know it's available, it's just a matter of finding out who to call. In fact, I have already been doing some research so that I don't have to spend most of my time doing it when I get there. I had rather spend my time enjoying their company.

I Love Getting New Tickets

I just love getting new tickets to something.  You want to know why? It's because it gives me something to think about and look forward to while I work. I know I should be day dreaming about some event, but it beats day dreaming about something I don't have.

This past weekend I was able to purchase some High School Musical Tickets for the entire family. Needless to say, my daughter is thrilled about this. But this wasn't all I bought. I also got some Ringling Brothers Circus Tickets so we could take my nephew to his first circus. I thought nothing but the best for him. Now I'm saving the best for last. Want to know what else I bought?  It is something I have wanted to a long time, but didn't know exactly how to fit it into my budget. Well, I finally did it.  I bought some Chicago Theatre Tickets for our trip to Chicago. This is probably my best purchase of all, or at least it is in my eyes. Now I can really daydream!

Looking at a Vacation

We always try to go somewhere nice each spring. It's our way of celebrating the summer coming and the winter going. I guess you wonder why I am talking about the spring so far in advance.  Well, it's two reason actually. One of them is because we like to book in advance to put our minds at ease and know we have a reservation somewhere, especially when it come to a Myrtle Beach Resort.

The second reason is so we can have something to look forward too. The past three years we have stayed in Myrtle Beach Resorts or Myrtle Beach Hotels. It has been unbelievable.  The weather is beautiful and so are the beaches.  My entire family enjoys it. This next spring we are thinking of inviting some friends along. My husband enjoys having someone to play golf with and I wouldn't mind having someone to shop with. This would be like having heaven on earth.

My Husband's Job

My husband's job requires him to do a whole lot of traveling. He is constantly on the road and in different cities each day. Just the other day he calls me from about five hundred miles away and wanted me to do a local search for him. He was trying to find this business location and had no clue what their phone number was or he could have called them to ask for directions.

Being the helpful wife that I am, I started out looking in the local yellowpages online.  I had no clue there was such a place as local.com.  If you've never tried it then you are definitely missing out on the greatest search tool available online today. I was so impressed that I had to show my husband when he got home. Now he is saying he wants to take the laptop with him on his trips.  This would save him tons of time, especially when he is trying to find local restaurants to have his meetings.

Computer Problems are Gone

It seems like here lately I have had so many computer problems. Don't get me wrong, I like computers and couldn't live without them, but sometimes they are such a pain to keep alive and well. Now that I have some antispyware software installed, I am hoping for better luck. It seems every time I turned around my computer was getting infected. Wish me luck that my bad luck computer problems are now over.

Giving a Wedding Shower is Only the Beginning

My cousin just married this lovely young woman a couple of weeks ago. My other cousin and I decided to give them a wedding shower. We have been searching high and low for decorations until I can't look anymore. I want it to be a nice shower, but it sure is a lot of work. We plan to have the shower sometime before the end of the month since their manufactured home is not going to be delivered for another couple of weeks. That's another story in itself. Basically, the ground was too wet from all the rain and they were unable to get it set up before the wedding date. Now my cousin and his new bride are having to live in the house with the inlaws. Can't you imagine how well that's going?

My Daughter's Luggage

My daughter bought some new Eagle Creek luggage a few months ago. She really does love it, and since I am trying to decide on what type of luggage to buy for my husband and myself, I was thinking about this kind. Anyone else have it? We are going on a cruise at the end of the month and I need to act quickly, otherwise I will be packing my clothes in garbage bags since my last luggage is missing.

My Nephew's Wish List

My nephew has a wish list about a mile long. I know it's crazy for someone that age to want so much. I ask him often what he wants this year for Christmas and I swear it changes each time. Well almost each time, there is one thing he keeps saying everytime he talks about his wants. He says he wants a PS3. Now I can't say that I blame him for wanting one of those. If it were for video games my son would have been lost growing up.

New Lockers at School

Tonight we had a parent meeting at the school and discussed the School Lockers. At first when I heard what the meeting was going to be about, I thought to myself how silly to call a meeting just to deal with a Locker issue. After walking in the school, I strolled through the halls and actually paid closer attention to the old Wood Lockers. Needless to say, I knew after walking through that hall why they called the meeting.

They formed a committee to find some prices on Lockers for sale. I didn't really want to be in this group, but was appointed to help anyway. Therefore, I will be spending the weekend looking at pricing. I really don't mind at all, but I have so many things to do this weekend.  I will end up waiting until Sunday to do most of my research, but I know I can get it done.

My Husband and His Computer Brain

I am so thankful to have a husband who knows more about computers than I do. He said I needed a registry cleaner on my computer. I immediately turned to him and told him I had no clue what he was talking about. Thank goodness, he knew and took care of the problem for me.

First thing he did was look for a free registry cleaner.  I knew what free meant, and I have always liked that word since it means nothing is coming out of my pocket. Anyway, I now have a clean registry and I can get myself back to work. I'm not sure if that is a good thing, but at least I know that more work means more money coming in. If it wasn't for my dear husband, I would probably be sitting here trying to figure out how to clean my registry on my own and end up wasting more time and money.

My Mother's Face

Ever since I was a young girl, I can remember my mother using a cream on her face everyday. I immediately started doing this when I was a teenager because I wanted my face to always look as young and smooth as my mothers. Just the other day I had a friend of mine as if I used any type of cream on my face to make it look this way. I was so happy to tell her about the best wrinkle cream ever made. If you've never heard of Prototype #37-C, then you should definitely check it out. You'll be glad you did.
