Our Latest Addition

I have been wanting a puppy for quite some time now, and finally got one. It is an Imperial Shih-Tzu, which only means it is the smaller version of dog instead of the standard size. She is just adorable, but so tiny. Her name is Sydney, and we have had her for two weeks. Her mother weighs 4 lbs and her father is 5 lbs. When I took her for her shots, she weighed a whole 22 ounces, and the vet told me I would be lucky if she makes it up to 4 lbs. I am hoping she will, because I would prefer not to have one too little. Either way, she is loved and spoiled, and we are truly enjoying the puppy days.

Yum! Bananas!!!

I like bananas, but I'm not crazy about food that have bananas in it. Rarely I will eat a banana split. I found this recipe and it actually sounds pretty good, so I thought I would share. I was told this dessert would melt in your mouth and was always a big hit. If you try it before I get a chance then please let me know your opinion.

Stuffed Baked Bananas

Ingredients:
4 bananas
4 Tablespoons of peanut butter
4 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Tablespoons of brown sugar
1/2 cup of pecans chopped
vanilla ice cream
garnish with mint

Directions:
Cut banana lengthwise down to peel. Mix together peanut butter, chocolate chips and brown sugar. Fill the banana. Wrap banana in aluminum foil and back at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Take out of foil and place on dish. Top with vanilla ice cream and chopped pecans. Garnish with mint.
