Cooking Prime Rib Roast

Well guess what we are having for dinner tonight??? Yep, you guessed it. Prime Rib Roast. I have finally mastered How to Cook Prime Rib Roast. I even wrote about it on an eHow article of mine. It's actually not as hard as it sounds, but it is one of those things you don't want to screw up because of the price this meat can cost. I was blessed enough to have a chef for a friend. She is the chef for a very well known country club in the nearby city where we live. She has helped me master this recipe and all my thanks go to her. Thanks Cindy!!!

I Love Magazines!

One of my downfalls is magazines at the check out register. They know exactly where you get you. I use to have subscriptions to different magazines that would come in the mail, but then I decided I didn't read them as much as if I had bought in the check out line at the grocery store. Why is that? Either way, I love magazines. Not so much the Enquirers, but mostly the Better Homes and Gardens or Woman's Day. I'm not really sure if it's the recipes, weight loss tips or how to declutter my house, but either way....they get my money..lol

Could the Day Get Any Longer?

Some days seem to fly by, while others drag around forever! This has been one of those days in which I should have kept myself in bed. From the moment I woke up, it has been nothing but one problem after another. It first started off with a phone call from a friend wanting me to do her a HUGE favor. Now most of you know, first thing in the morning is not the time to be asking for big favors. But, of course, I said, "Yes." I know she would have for me too. It wasn't anything too big, or at least not to me. She needed me to follow her to meet her at the tire store and take her back home while they put a new set of tires on her car. Doesn't sound too bad, does it? Well, that is only the beginning. I won't go into details, but this little journey took me almost 5 hours to complete. She forgot to mention that she had some other errands to run while I was playing taxi service. It feels like I took her to every store in town, not to mention, the hair salon. Yes, you read that right. She also had a hair appointment. Now, if it were me, I would have rescheduled, but not her. Anyway, all I am doing is complaining when I should just be thankful that I am still alive and well. But some day I am going to learn to say the word, "No."

I am happily married and a mother of an 18 year old daughter. Living in the country has been my life. Traveling is my second nature. I have several different work at home jobs, and some of them include my favorite hobbies, photography and scrapbooking. I also enjoy blogging while my husband flips houses.
