Spent the Morning Helping My Cousin

I spent most of the morning helping my cousin get ready for her new little baby that is on its way. We went shopping for all types of cool items. First thing she picked out was the bedding and curtains to match. Then we looked for some accessories that would match. She decided to go with Peter Rabit for her theme and to tell you the truth, I love it. It is going to be so adorable once everything is all in the room.

I promised her that next weekend, I would help her go look for nursery furniture. I was so happy she invited to me to tag along for this because looking for furniture is probably one of my favorite kinds of shopping for a room. It has been years since I helped to decorate a baby's room, so this is going to be a great little adventure. She knows she is having a baby boy, so I have to keep that in mind when helping her look for new things. I never got this opportunity since I only had a daughter. My stepson was already three when he came to live with us.

This is also going to help me in deciding what to get her as a gift for her upcoming baby shower. Now I get to see all the things she likes and dislikes as we are shopping. I am hoping for a clue as to what she just can't live without. I want to be able to get her something that is extremely nice and unique because she has done so much to help me in the past few years. If it hadn't been for her then I don't know where I would be in my life right now. It scares me to even think about it.
